Congratulations on the growth. I remember my father with Father Kyle, and other men preparing the tent for masses. The setting of chairs, laying of straw after a rain. What memories. Cannot forget the Country Fair every Labor Day. I have not been back in the area you 34 years. I am sure glad that St Johns is still a vital part of the community.

I too have not been a member of the community or the parish since 1973. My father and mother, Nick and Barbara Kosan were very active with the church as I grew up. I have fond memories of the Country Fair. It was a great time for a family gathering as well as a good fund raiser. With many games and rides, it was also a good time. One game in particular still makes me chuckle. You could not have Bingo as it was illegal. To get around it ... WE HAD DUCKY!!! Was never sure if Father Kyle or Father Moriarty had to say a few extra prayers about that one. None the less, I was an alter boy and attended St Johns for 6 yrs. My best wishes to the church and its following for continued success in the community.
Sincerely, Nick Kosan Jr.

I would like to ask all who read this to please pray for my children Anthony, Ariel, & Austin. Pray that thier father (Matt) lets go of his anger and controlling behavior. Pray that he becomes closer to God a more loving and caring father and person. Thank you all and God bless you,
Tammy
